The Daily Republic in Fairfield, California recently published an article about a project we're working on in Rio Vista.    Our client is converting an empty residential hotel into an assisted living facility.  Rio Vista is a small community that has a growing senior population with no assisted living facilities. It is creating a problem for many elders.  See the article here.

We're also being helped by AgeSong, one of the premier operators of Elder Care and assisted living centers in the Bay Area.  They are leaders in developing lively engaging environments for elders.

Based on our discussions with AgeSong, our first plans incorporated the idea that living environments for the elderly should more closely resembles traditional homes and apartments.  In this conceptual plan, we have "apartments" where smaller groups of residents can interact in a home-like environment.
